Eligibility Criteria:

As for the company, it has been in operation for less than 10 years.

Being a private limited company, registered partnership firm, or a limited liability partnership.

The annual turnover should not exceed Rs 100 crore as a matter of fact for any financial year since incorporation.

Registration Steps:

Visit nsws. go to the site and log in by clicking the Login button.

Choose the particular type of entity (Incorporated Company, Limited Liability Partnership, Sole Proprietor, Others) and click the ‘Next’ button.

Enter and validate the company PAN details, and click ‘Next’.

Type in the business name and address and hit ‘Next’.

Conduct a PAN verification using the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) by clicking ‘Proceed to Verify’.

Verify the pre-filled information and check for any extra information required.

Get the Digital Signature Certificate registered and make sure that the ‘DSC Verification Successful’ message appears after that.

Select ‘My Dashboard’ and go to ‘Apply on’ to ‘Register as a Startup’ from the drop-down list.

Put in the application form information like logos, website, industry, sector, company representative information, number of employees, trademark status, nature of the startup, innovation, scalability, and funding status.

Write an essay in which you describe the startup’s innovation, the problem it solves, the uniqueness of the solution, and how it generates revenue.

Under ‘Self Certification’ insert the Certification of Incorporation and Authorization Letter.

Click ‘Save Draft’ when you’ve accepted the terms and conditions, then ‘Review & Submit’.

Check your details and proceed with the submission of the application.

Post-Submission:

The status of the submitted application will be ‘Submitted’.

The process of approval may take up to one week.

On approval, your download your ‘Certificate of Recognition’ with the DPIIT number.

This simplified procedure helps startups to register fast and efficiently and thus, they can easily be connected to a variety of benefits and support systems provided by the Startup India scheme.
